I have officially celebrated 3 months of serving at Crossroads!
Since I have begun my journey as a missionary, the Lord has opened many great paths of responsibility very quickly, and I couldn’t be more blessed with the work He has me doing (so get ready to read)!

YOUTH MINISTRY
Within the youth group meetings every Wednesday we have began teaching the kids through small groups how to do an inductive Bible study inspired by the approaches of Pete Vitali from Calvary Chapel Vero Beach. Here we could equip the kids with tools on how to understand the context and interpretation of the living Scripture to accurately interpret and apply it according to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
Discipleship
When it comes to youth ministry, I have discovered that personal connection with the kids is an important tool of showing an example of God’s love as well as providing a comfortable space for the hard questions and guidance in living this love.

During this season of service I have begun discipling three middle school girls! They are all beautifully unique in their perspectives but have fervent hearts to learn more about God and His character as they navigate schooling, friendships, and begin the transition into summertime.
I currently meet weekly with each girl where we grab coffee, go on a picnic, or have a chat in the car with time dedicated to Him in prayer, edifying conversation, and in the living Word. The girls are a blessing and inspiration to my own personal walk as well!
Hope For Appalachia Missions Trip
A wonderful opportunity of spiritual challenge and growth for me and the youth ministry was a missions trip to Kentucky with Hope For Appalachia. Us youth leaders accompanied around 20 kids within our youth group to Kentucky where we shared the gospel with boxes of goodies to various schools in the Appalachian area to kids ranging from kindergarten to seniors.
God provided through car troubles, exhaustion, and spiritual warfare so faithfully and evidently for each individual that went! Many of our youth and leaders (including myself) shared our testimony’s of how the Lord met us and changed us. God made His love and freedom known to many kids in Kentucky, and even led one of our own youth in accepting salvation through Christ! Prayers were swiftly answered and hearts of many were transformed!

SUMMER PLANS
Season of refreshed spirits and exciting growth
Now that the youth ministry is heading into the summer season, times are getting busy! We begin summer camps with the theme of Life vs Death showing how to make the decision and how living that decision looks. We will begin with 5 weeks of Duolos Camp sessions that focus on teaching the kids humble servanthood through working together on work projects around the Cedar Ranch property, adventures outdoors, and team games. Following that will be our middle school, high school, and adventure camps that provide a fun and safe environment to make friends and explore personal faith filled with worship, time alone with God, and games!
Lastly, the Lord has began laying ground work for future projects within the digital media of the church. I have begun editing informational graphics for upcoming events in the church (yet to be published), and I have also been working with a team editing recorded sermons from Sunday services.
Please be praying for these areas of my ministry:
- the middle school girls within the youth ministry as they continue to grow through life challenges and questions
- The youth ministry, both staff and attendees, as we enter into the summer season with multiple summer camps and retreats
- the students and staff from Kentucky that we ministered to as well as HFA’s efforts and safety in continuing their mission through the year
- Wisdom and flexibility in approaching the exciting but challenging adjustment to ministry

“Soli Deo Gloria”
Creating to glorify the Creator. When we see the love the Lord has painted into His canvas of the world and His people, we can reflect and embrace it within our own work.
